National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga has for the first time spoken after former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar defected to Jubilee Party.

Speaking on Monday afternoon, Odinga said that he was not worried after the defection.

In the recent past, NASA has lost a number of key policians to Jubilee party.

"No Kenyan should lose sleep because individuals have gone to State House and announced their defection. We shall never focus on a few leaders and election losers who are trying to make hay while the sun shines. The only exodus we know and recognize is the exodus from nepotism and tribalism. In a free and fair contest, Jubilee will lose again,” he said.

"We, however, want to assure the people of Kenya that change is on the way."

Omar officially joined Jubilee Party on Sunday after resigning as Wiper Party chairman weeks ago.

He made the announcement on Sunday during a Jubilee rally on Sunday in Mombasa where he said that there was no way Odinga could be President and at the same time have Hassan Joho as Mombasa governor.
