Opposition leader Raila Odinga on Sunday met President Uhuru Kenyatta at the Muthaiga golf club for the closing ceremony of the Barclays Kenya open.
During the event, the two leaders watched golfing activities and participated in awarding the winners with their rewards.
Speaking shortly after the event, Odinga who is known to be a staunch football supporter noted that even though the event was nice he prefers watching a Gor Mahia match.
"It was nice watching the 2018 Barclays Kenya Open but I think I'll stick to watching the Mighty Gor Mahia," Odinga posted.
The Sunday meeting was the first event attended by the two leaders after they signed a unity pact earlier this month.
President Kenyatta and Odinga are expected to tour the country together in a bid to unite Kenyans after the divisive 2017 polls.
