NASA leader Raila Odinga has spoken on possibilities of him re-considering to decision to pull out of the repeat presidential election.
A week ago Odinga pulled out of the race stating that IEBC had no intensions of meeting NASA’s irreducable demands.
Among NASA’s demands is for CEO Ezra Chiloba to quit the commision for allegdly being the reason behind the mismanagemnt of the August 8 polls that were nulllified by the Supreme Court.
Speaking on Thursday after a brief meeting with IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati, Odinga said that he was ready to partcipate in the polls if NASA’s conditions are met on time.
IEBC has maintained that the October 26 polls are still on despite NASA vowing to ensure that the repeat elections will not proceed.
Jubilee Party has mainatained that it will take part in the polls.
Raila’s sentiments come a day after commissioner Roselyn Akombe resign from his role citing that the body was not in a position to hold a free and fair election.
He further dissmised reports that he was interested in a colaition government.
“That is cheap propaganda perpetrated by people who are drunk with power. I don’t need any of those poisoned Nusu Mkate’sfrom them,” he said.
