Just a day after President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto launched a public information portal where Kenyans can scrutinise Jubilee administration development record, ODM party leader Raila Odinga has rubbished the move as a mere publicity stunt.

"Uhuru yesterday launched yet another Public Relation website to list down projects of the Jubilee regime. This is in addition to three more websites (mygov.go.ke, huduma.co.ke, and statehouse.co.ke) that he launched in the past four years," reads Odinga's statement.

The opposition chief challenged the need for an information portal on development when the common mwanainchi cannot even push through the day due to the poor economy in Kenya.

"Jubilee promised food on our tables, quality education, wealth creation and affordable healthcare but as we speak unga is now at Sh160 from Sh75, milk is at Sh60 from Sh32 and sugar is at Sh140 from Sh98," he said.

Odinga said the much-hyped development record that Jubilee brags of is a bag of lies and mere public relation.

"The President has not been sincere. We all know corruption has been the flagship project of  Uhuru's incompetent government. In fact, we were hoping it will top the Jubilee Portal of Lies launched on Monday," reads Odinga's statement.

Odinga also praised the opposition for being steadfast in bringing to public attention major corruption scandals in the Jubilee administration.
