NASA principal Raila Odinga has dismissed claims that he had been denied permit to fly out of the country.

Mr Odinga in an interview with Radio Jambo on Wednesday morning said he is still in possession of his VISA to the United States and UK which he says remain valid for the next few more years ahead.

The NASA leader said he could not leave the country following the election matters at hand forcing him to stay back and have fresh plans on his trip to the UK where he is supposed to give a lecture that will see him speak on democracy and to an extent the supreme court ruling that nullified the August 8 presidential election in Kenya.

"I still have my VISA with me and they are valid. The issues at hand mad me stay and they concern elections.If is not the first time I am going to give a lecture and nobody has denied me permission for go anywhere," said Mr Odinga.

He revealed that he shall be flying out of the country today (Wednesday) evening and that he will be traveling back on Saturday.

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka left the country on Tuesday evening after the duo announced their exit from the repeat presidential contests that has been set for the 26th of October.
