There are rumours circulating media houses and social media that Cord leader, Raila Odinga may clinch the top seat in 2017 after 3 attempts of failure.
Supporters have been giving opinions that Raila only has one bullet left and he is the preferred candidate to unseat President Kenyatta from the presidency seat ahead of 2017 general elections.
In 2002, Raila supported former President Mwai Kibaki only to lack support from Central Kenya in 2007 when things changed.
Raila's supporters leave him to suffer political defeat during election times.
Cord co-principal, Moses Wetangula in the past few days has been had asking Raila to support a winning team. The winning team being Wetangula and Kalonzo.
Raila who learnt from the 2002 elections when he supported Kibaki, who turned against him in 2007, will never endorse or support another candidate.
Other supporters have suggested that Mudavadi should take Kalonzo as his running mate on a Cord ticket and Wetangula should be the next National Assembly speaker.
To Raila, this will be impossible since he is out of the country you will not know what he will come with once he returns back. He may change tactics ahead of 2017.
In 2017, Raila has a better chance to win elections rather than supporting any other candidate who may lead to Cord's failure.
