All the departing legislators have cited lack of respect, dictatorship and undermining in-house party politics as their main reason of sorting political solace in other parties.

With 2017 fast approaching, this can only mean disaster for the political coalition aiming to clinch the government from the Jubilee party. With Cord leader, Raila Odinga stating his wish to vie for the presidency with Cord ticket, this only means more disaster for the coalition.

However, one of the methods to tame the unending rebellion is to let Raila Odinga support another presidential candidate.

With earlier failed attempts for presidency, Raila supporting another presidential candidate may help tame the rebellion. It may also attract more support for the coalition and this may offer an indication for 2017 election victory.

Currently, Cord has the likes of Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka who can be supported for the presidency.

The Western Kenya region, through the likes of Budalang’i MP, Ababu Namwamba and Funyula MP, Paul Otuoma, has been leading the area in taking another course away from Cord. They are no longer the only ones claiming to take their political stance. Kisii region political leaders have also come out to declare their future formation of their own political party aimed at taking care of their needs.

With the ever increasing Cord political woes, Raila needs to come up with a new political strategy to help save Cord's political strongholds from joining other political parties.
