Cord leader Raila Odinga visited Kajiado county to drum up support for the opposition coalition on Saturday.
He was accompanied by the Kajiado Central lawmaker Elijah Memusi, East Africa Legislative Assembly Member of Parliament Judith Pareno and ODM Youth League leader John Ketora.
He was in the county to also attend Julius Neboo's thanks giving prayers.
While in the area, the former premier emphasized on Cord's support for a strong National Lands Commission as the best possible route to solving land problems in the country.
He also took the opportunity to take note of the attempts by the Justice and Legal Affairs committee to undermine the work of the Select Committee on IEBC working of electoral reforms.
"I offer my unreserved support for the Select Committee to be given an appropriate latitude to work on its mandate with a view of free, fair and democratic 2017 general elections," he said.
