Odinga has made a number of trips to the Gusii region and on Sunday, he passed by former powerful Minister Simeon Nyachae‘s home to condole with the family.

And in an exclusive interview with Chae who is currently in Western Kenya with Odinga, she confirmed planned visit towards the end of the month in both Nyamira and Kisii Counties.

“Youths are the agents of change and the ODM party is keen to invest in them to garner more support in our Gusii region. The party leader will visit later on this month to address Nyamira youths before he wraps up at Kisii,” she said.

“He will have time to tell the youths what the party stands for and outline various areas where they should man to ensure the party locks Jubilee out of the region,” she said.

She also said the meetings will be the start of several other strategic plans to ensure ODM sweeps all posts at stake in 2017 polls.

“As a party, we are keen to win more elective seats from the region and that is why we want to work closely with youths under the supervisor of the establishment,” she said.
