On Tuesday, opposition leader Raila Odinga told Jubilee to start packing its bag ahead of next week’s Election Day.

The presidential flag bearer is confident ahead of the polls set to take place in seven days’ time.

"The days of a thief are 40. We are now on the 34th day [in the plan] to send Jubilee thieves home. We are now on the shores of River Jordan. The only thing remaining is turning out to vote. I will garner 10 million votes," he said as reported by The Star.

Odinga likened the incumbent Jubilee government to a “drunk driver and a conductor who is a thief".

He went on to assure the plan to adopt a polling station is still on as they intend to a free and fair election.

"We shall not be cowed by Matiang'i's threats. We have learnt our lessons and must protect our votes. Wake up in the morning, vote and make sure all the voters in that particular polling station vote. Don't leave polling stations after voting, wait until the results are declared."

He was accompanied by his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka who criticized Jubilee of lying to Kisii and Nyamira voters by introducing fake-projects.

"They launch construction of roads but the machines are withdrawn the following day. Most of the roads in Kisii were initiated during my tenure as Roads minister," he said.
