Just a couple of days after he claimed to know Jacob Juma's killers, Raila Odinga among twenty other people, has been lined up for interrogation by the directorate of criminal investigations.
According to information that was published in the star newspaper, the individuals that have been identified for interrogation are only meant to shed light on the brutal murder but would never be treated as suspects to the heinous act. The decision was reached after a high level meeting at the CID headquarters in Nairobi.
However, the opposition leader through his spokesman, Mr Denis Onyango, has said that he will record a statement with the police only if he receives a formal and an official invitation.
“We hope that individuals that Juma had claimed were after his soul are among those summoned for interrogation by the directorate of criminal investigations. Otherwise, the interrogations will only lead to more suspicions " Said Onyango in his statement.
Other individuals up for questioning are businessman Wanjigi Jimmy and Yongo Brian who is a tax collector in Nairobi county.
All eyes are now turned to Moses Wetangula who had earlier on promised to name the killers during Juma's burial ceremony slated for Saturday, 14th May in his Bungoma home.
