ODM leader Raila Odinga may after all dump his co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka following the latter's decision to abandon Tuesday's swearing-in.
A visibly frightened Kalonzo defended his action, claiming that he had been put under house arrest, an excuse that contradicts his latest claim.
"I was not able to link up with my brother Raila because of well known reasons. It is now clear that we were put under house arrest," he said.
Since then, Wiper party has called for an urgent meeting to discuss Kalonzo's 'behaviour' with fears looming that Raila could ditch him.
And a post by Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo on Facebook, confirms the worst fears that ODM may opt to walk out of NASA.
"As ODM, we are ready to soldier on without political cowards. Nobody is going to compel us to pay political debs," she hinted, in reference with Kalonzo's absence at Uhuru Park.
Since then, Ms Odhiambo is yet to retract the statement, a clear indication that Raila will not support Kalonzo.
Prior to August polls, Kalonzo and Raila had signed an agreement that would see the latter support his 2022 bid.
