Kenyan opposition leader Raila Odinga will on Tuesday lead thousands of mourners in giving last respect to fallen Ex-Zimbabwean premier Morgan Tsvangirai.
At Harare International Airport on Monday, MDC leadership was quick to recognise Raila's special relationship with Tsvangirai.
"I am happy to receive MT's trusted friend iconic Mzee Odinga. MDC honours him and respects his role in fighting against bad governance," tweeted acting president Nelson Chamisa.
He further said: "As a party, we shall ensure he gets special time on behalf of pro-democracy crusaders tomorrow (Tuesday)."
Raila's close relationship with Tsvangirai was not secret since both were pictured rallying for each other in presidential campaign trails in their respective countries.
Also expected to share podium with Raila is Tanzania's John Magufuli, Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa and Zimbabwe's Emmerson Mnangagwa.
