The National Super Alliance (Nasa) principal Raila Odinga is set to leave the country for the US.According to Daily Nation, Nasa co-principal Moses Wetangula in a phone interview said Raila was to leave the country Saturday night or today (Sunday) for Washington DC primarily to seek the backing of the Congress in ensuring democracy prevails in Kenya.Wetangula further noted Odinga's tour to the US was aimed at setting the records straight about the current political stalemate in Kenya.“He is going to address the Congress on the situation in Kenya," Wetangula is quoted by Sunday Nation.The Bungoma senator also accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of destroying Kenya's democracy.“Mr. Kenyatta can have the crown but we will not let him have the power,” said Wetangula.The Ford Kenya boss will also be heading to the European Union to support the Nasa cause in the course of next week.
