National Super Alliance (Nasa) leader Raila Odinga has said he will on October 25 make a major announcement on the fresh presidential election.

Speaking in Bondo on Friday, Odinga said he will address the nation on the way forward concerning the fresh poll.

The opposition leader maintained that there will be no elections on October 26.

Nasa leaders have been holding protests against the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), demanding the resignation of some officials over the August 8 polls.

The leaders say the repeat poll will not be free and fair, if the officials are left to take charge of next week's vote.

Odinga has since withdrawn from the presidential race. He said he has no faith in the electoral body.

Jubilee Party leader Uhuru Kenyatta has dismissed Odinga's no elections call, saying he is after causing chaos in the country.

Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto have insisted that there will be an election on October 26.

Speaking during the Mashujaa Day celebrations at the historic Uhuru Park, the president and his deputy said voting is a constitutional right and no one can bar Kenyans from the activity.
