Outspoken Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru is among powerful Jubilee leaders who are scheduled to meet Raila Odinga on Wednesday morning, reports the Daily Nation.
In solidarity with handshake between Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta, a section of Jubilee leaders, who are viewed as harshest critics of Raila, have met the former Prime Minister.
And Waiguru, who at one point was at loggerheads with Raila over NYS corruption scandal, that saw the country lose up to Sh800 million, will be accompanying Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa to Raila's office.
Besides Waiguru, another critic of the ODM leader, Irungu Kanga'ta, will also be part of the team visiting Raila's Capital Hill offices.
During the protracted 2017 campaigns, Raila often made reference to Waiguru, whenever he took a swipe on Jubilee's alleged corruption record.
To portray Uhuru as critic, Raila often said, Waiguru was one of the most guarded leaders within Jubilee who helped the regime loot billions of taxpayers money.
The former Devolution minister's tour to Raila's offices is perhaps a good gesture on the former PM's new working relationship with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In the meeting, it's understood, the four leaders would extensively discuss about the upcoming devolution conference in Kakamega County.
