[Opposition leader Raila Odinga. Photo/Courtesy]ODM leader and Nasa principal Raila Odinga will not attend the Fourth Annual Devolution Conference, Thursday as it was expected.This is after the opposition leader fell ill due to food poisoning.
He was however treated at a Nairobi hospital, Wednesday and is now recuperating at his Karen home according to his spokesman, Dennis Onyango.
The former Prime Minister was to address over 6,000 delegates who have converged in Naivasha annual meeting.
He will be represented by Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula, who is also one of the Nasa principals.
Onyango also confirmed the Opposition leader would leave for South Africa, Thursday to visit his daughter Rosemary Odinga who is diagnosed for brain tumor.
