The National Super Alliance flag bearer Raila Odinga is expected to officially launch his presidential bid in Western Kenya next month.
Raila revealed this, Saturday, when he hosted ODM party candidates for various elective positions in Busia, Bungoma, Vihiga, Trans Nzoia and Kakamega in Bishop Stam Hall in Kakamega.
“Western Kenya has been a strong pillar of support for the ODM party and remains one of our party strongholds. It is for this reason, and our ideological similarities, that I shall officially launch my presidential bid in the county next Saturday, June 3,” Raila said, Saturday.
“As the Change Movement, we are organised, we are prepared and we are ready for the August 8 poll. We are ready to claim back Kenya for Kenyans,” he added.
