The tag of war between President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader  may be far from over following Odinga’s decision to challenge the victory in the New York based United Nation’s agency.

Sources close to the Star have revealed that Odinga will avail a formal petition to Secretary General Antonio Guterres and AU’s Moussa Faki.

“We will be briefing the Prime Minister and the letters will be dispatched,” a former Diplomat working with Odinga’s team said.

Among those drafting the petition include David Ndii, Richard Onyonka, Peter Nyong’o, Abubakar Zein and Junet Mohammed.

According to the envoy, Odinga wants the two agencies formal intervention in Kenyan crisis with an interim government being fronted as an option.

“We will be telling UN that there was no election on October 26th and it was just a charade,” said Homa Bay MP Peter Kaluma.

And when contacted, Onyonka was however brief adding that ‘Jubilee’s tenure will end whether they like it or not’.
