Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has yet again dimissed deputy president William Ruto's claims that he is only interested in joining government.
For weeks now, the DP has been accusing Odinga albeit indirectly of plotting constitutional to join government.
And in his Tuesday's speech at Naivasha during ODM party's NEC meeting, Raila insisted that his handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta is about 'doing things differently'.
"This country has had Presidents, Prime Ministers and even Chief Secretaries before. It is not about getting jobs.
"We have been doing things the same way and we must now change tact. I am not after any job as some people are saying," he said.
In most of his rallies, the DP has been arguing that Odinga is keen to push for constitutional changes to join government.
While his role in Uhuru's administration remains unclear, sources say that Raila could be offered a statesman job.
