The now shaky National Super Alliance (Nasa) coalition on its formation had one agreement concerning the 2022 general elections that would help the members in choosing the flag bearer.

The agreement was that Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) was not to front any presidential candidate in the 2022 general elections.

Speaking to Citizen TV during an interview on Tuesday, James Orengo said that  ODM  will only honour the agreement on one condition that  Nasa as coalition remain intact and do not break up until 2022.

"If things remain constant and all the principles remain in place then 2022 the agreement that we reached in accordance with the agreement will be honoured," said Mr. Orengo.

However, with the new developments in the political scene particular NASA, anything could in this dirty game of politics.

With the differences in the coalition that came about as a result of ODM joining the government without involving the other affiliate parties, NASA seems to be on its deathbed.

More cracks are yet to to be seen following the Tuesday ouster of the Bungoma senator and Ford-Kenya party leader, Moses Wetangula.

Many leaders within the coalition have castigated the move with claims that ODM is breaking away from NASA so as not to honour the agreement.

Honouring of the Nasa agreement is dependent on whether the coalition will stand the taste of time and this is a matter of wait and see.
