Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga will this Saturday tour Kisii County where he is expected to address a youth rally before traversing the county to popularize the Orange party.
Mr Odinga’s trip comes amidst several trips made by top Jubilee leaders among them Deputy President William Ruto who has visited the region twice this month.
Confirming the youth meeting, ODM County youth league leader Erick Janganya said the veteran politician will address a youth meeting dubbed ‘Kikao 001” before embarking on a series of rallies across the county.
“I want to make it clear that our party leader will be in the county on Saturday where he will address thousands of youth at Kisii Stadium," he said.
"It will be a lecture on our roles in the society especially in the political arena and all those interested are welcome."
“Thereafter, we will traverse the entire county to popularize our ODM party in all the nine constituencies. Our main theme will be of course urging residents to register in numbers so that we get the required numbers to beat our opponents."
The much anticipated meeting which had earlier on been postponed was confirmed by acting Secretary General Agnes Zani in the party’s official website on Tuesday.
