NASA leader Raila Odinga insists Washington DC against has no 'moral authority' to dictate Kenyans on their preferred way of governance.

Raila, who is contemplating taking oath of office, further insists the swearing-in will go on as planned on January 30th.

"This is not a laughing matter. The swearing in shall go on as planned. This culture of impunity must stop," he told Voice of America on Tuesday.

Already, at least 93 NASA legislators have signed an affidavit that recognises Raila as president, a programme spearheaded by Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala.

Asked about President Donald Trump's warning about assumption of office outside constitutional parameters, Odinga did not have kind words for the Republican leader.

"They are our friends. They can advise us but cannot force us.Kenya is not a colony of America and we will do what we want and whoever against it can go to hell," said Raila.

American envoy Robert Godec has been spearheading dialogue agenda, which is however yet to materialise.
