Raila Odinga has taken his battle to Washington DC following his tough statement on alleged racial slurs attributed to President Donald Trump to African Nations.
In the recent past, Odinga, who is considered as one of few surviving Panafricanists, has accused US of meddling in African countries governance affairs.
"The US is not welcome to solve our problems. Some of her envoys are the main reason we are suffering," he said last year in an apparent reference to US ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec.
Throughout the electioneering crisis in Kenya, Odinga's team has blamed US for allegedly backing President Uhuru Kenyatta despite rigging claims.
And on Saurday, Odinga insisted that part of African problems were either directly or indirectly linked to US.
"Trump must be equally reminded that many of the poverty and governance related problems that keep Africa down result directly and indirectly from US foreign policies," he said.
In a number of countries among them DRC Congo, Burundi and Libya, US has been linked with destabilization, an allegation that State Department has always denied.
