Raila Odinga insists that he is still open to dialogue despite the government's failure to honour NASA ultimatums.

In a rare phone interview with KTN News, Raild dismissed Uhuru's presidency as 'illigitimate' adding that over 80 percent of Kenyans boycotted October repeat polls.

"He is not the duly elected president and he knows that very well. Over 80 percent of Kenyans boycotted that charade.

"As NASA, we are still open for dialogue. If someone still pretends that there is no crisis in Kenya, he must be living somewhere else," said Raila ahead of swearing-in.

Contrary to expectations of many, police deserted the historic Uhuru Park despite ealier warning of a showdown with NASA supporters.

By mid-day, several NASA leaders among them Gldays Wanga, Sam Ongeri and Miguna Miguna had taken their seats in the main dais.
