Raila Odinga says he would rather take a bullet and die for telling the truth than 'sitting and dying for nothing' in his quest for electoral justice.
Odinga,72, further insists that electoral injustices in the country shall end in 2017, adding that he will ensure the rightful winner of Kenyan elections is awarded victory.
"Sometimes I like saying the truth. I will rather die on a bullet than sitting and dying for nothing," he said on Sunday during People's Assembly meeting in Mombasa.
He added: "Electoral injustices must end in 2017 and that is a guarantee. We have been here before . I will take oath and ensure the rightful winner is given his way."
Despite boycotting October repeat polls, Odinga insists that President Uhuru Kenyatta's victory does not stand.
While it is not clear how he will tackle Uhuru's alleged illegitimacy, Odinga is however believed to be targeting a possible self determination of Kenya.
With US pushing dialogue, both political protagonists have given tough conditions which have literally derailed the proposed negotiations.
