Opposition leader Raila Odinga has yet again reignited swearing-in debate, this time round insisting that he will take oath before January.

At a charged People's Assembly in Kilifi's Kikampala, Odinga said he was keen to ensure electoral injustices ends in 2017.

"Electoral injustices must end in the year 2017. It is better saying the truth and die for something than sitting and die for nothing," said Odinga in reference to his planned oath taking.

Last Tuesday, NASA postponed Raila's planned swearing with absence of Kalonzo Musyoka from the country cited as one of the reasons.

But a defiant Raila, despite calls to drop the controversial debate, insisted that nothing would stop him, not even President Uhuru Kenyatta from taking the oath.

"I want to state categorically I will carry the Bible. No one will stop that to happen and it will happen with some assist.

"We have been here before and I want to repeat, I will take the oath and make sure the rightful winner is given his way," he said.

NASA Chief executive Norman Magaya had earlier insisted that Raila shall take oath before the end of the year.

On Wednesday, NASA leaders are set to hold a meeting with Raila's planned swearing-in before the end of the year being among top agenda.
