Unless president Uhuru Kenyatta reaches NASA leader Raila Odinga for dialogue, his plans to take oath of office on Tuesday will go on as planned.

At a tense meeting with envoys, Odinga maintained his position that he will accept dialogue where he will be treated as an equal with electoral justice listed among top agenda.

"Our position remains that we are disinterested with emissaries being sent to us. He will only cancel the inauguration if Uhuru reaches him for dialogue," wrote Noah Akala.

Envoys from Western countries have been pushing for dialogue to end political impasse in the country that has led to the death of dozens of opposition supporters.

Already, the Akala led committee has issued programme of events for the Tuesday's ceremony whose venue still remains a mystery.

"'Electoral justice is what he is pursuing and that can only happen if Uhuru swallows his pride. That is the only thing that can at least make us rethink," he added.

A defiant Odinga insists he is ready to be prosecuted for treason if that would make Kenya achieve electoral justice.
