Raila Odinga's NASA coalition has warned that President Uhuru Kenyatta should either embrace democracy or deal with a serious campaign of dividing Kenya into two nations.

While postponing inauguration of Odinga and his deputy, NASA also insisted that the pursuit for electoral justice remains intact.

"We want to remind Kenyans that we remain fully on course in pursuit for electoral justice. Our resistance of dictatorship is resolute and irreversible," read a statement by Musalia Mudavadi.

With a section of Western nations pushing for dialogue, NASA insists the quest for electoral justice remains on top of the agenda.

And Odinga now says his coalition will continue with already launched civic and economic resistance adding that they may choose secession as alternative for justice.

"Uhuru Kenyatta is remaining with only two options; to either embrace democracy or we push for self determination," Musalia said in a statement.

Already, Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma has written to IEBC asking it to oversee a plebiscite that would lead to division of Kenya into two nations.

In his request, Kaluma says, dividing Kenya into two would help deal with economic discrimination, marginalization and electoral fraud which he alleges that is perpetuated by the establishment.
