A section of residents drawn from Kisii and Nyamira counties respectively have now urged NASA leadership under Raila Odinga to explain people's assembly idea to their supporters.
According to those interviewed, they have no idea on what the people's assembly is all about nor how it will work and its impact.
James Momanyi a resident in Kisii said they've been supporting Raila's moves despite the fact they are currently in the dark and they want NASA to conduct an awareness campaign across the duo counties.
"So far so good no one understands what people's assembly is and how it will benefit us locals and the NASA fraternity as a whole and its high time we get explanations," said Momanyi
Another resident from Nyamira county Jerusa Nyangaresi also said the people's assembly maybe a good idea but they would like the coalition to explain deeper on how it works.
"I have interacted with most of the residents in Nyamira and all I know they don't understand the people's assembly idea and all they want is enlightenment," said Nyangaresi.
Their sentiments come at a time the opposition has said they will push for the people's assembly motion to be passed by all their counties as that will bring fairness' is future elections.
