[Photo/Elvanis Ronoh]Uasin Gishu Kikuyu community spokesman Samuel Kamunu Wa Kabari has advised opposition leader Raila Odinga on the current political stalemate. He said the opposition leader should work with President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William instead of fighting them. "As a Kikuyu elder I want to urge Raila Odinga to whom I respect to stop his swearing-in plans and instead work with the Jubilee government to improve the livelihoods of Kenyans,” he said in Eldoret town, Tuesday."There is no country in the world where it's governed by two presidents, therefore, his swearing plans are out of order and will tarnish his good name," he added. He, however, urged president Uhuru Kenyatta to accept dialogue with the opposition leader saying this will tone down the political temperature that is being witnessed in the country."I want to urge our president to swallow his pride and invite Raila for dialogue since he never knows what he has to offer on the table and you never know he may have ideas to take the country forward," noted Kabari. He also called upon Kenyans to maintain peace and live as brothers and sisters no matter their political or tribal affiliation.
