ODM party leader Raila Odinga has accused the Jubilee Government of using fake title deeds to dupe Coast residents into supporting their re-election bid.

Addressing a rally at Ukunda, in Kwale County on Wednesday,the former Prime Minister claimed that the title deeds which were issued by the Jubilee administration are open to question, adding that they were only meant to sway voters to support their candidature.

Raila's claims come barely a week after Kilifi Women Representative Aisha Jumwa made similar claims, saying the Uhuru Kenyatta-led government has done nothing tangible for countiesin the Coast region.

The veteran politician who was in the company of Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and his Kilifi counterpart Amason Kingi also took the opportunity to drum up support for the opposition outfit NASA, saying it is the only option for Kenyans in the August poll.

He further urged residents in the region to register as voters in large numbers, and promised to give a trophy to the county which will have listed the highest number of voters during the month-long exercise.
