Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) leader Raila Odinga has said the country has lost the fight against corruption.
According to Raila President Uhuru Kenyatta is the mastermind of corruption in the country.
Speaking to the press in his Karen home on Friday, the former prime minister said Uhuru has shown clearly that he is not ready to fight corruption in government.
"Uhuru is the patron of corrupt since corruption is the only industry doing well in Kenya," Raila said, as quoted by the Star.
He also called on the president to come out of his closet and tell Kenyans where the rain started beating the country.
"We expect Uhuru to tell us the status quo of our country and how we got there and where he is taking us to," Raila added.
War on corruption in Kenya is now a lost cause. Kenya is playing with the real giants in the corruption index."
The opposition under the leadership of Raila has been blaming Jubilee for doing little when the funds meant for the common Kenyan cannot be accounted for.
Raila expressed concerned over rampant runaway graft despite passing laws to curb the vice.
Uhuru himself recently confessed that corruption has left him a frustrated man.
"Corruption is frustrating me. The pressure is on me to do something about corruption but my hands are tied," he said at an event at State House.
