The crackdown targeting top NASA leaders is a wider plan by President Uhuru Kenyatta to culminate in Raila Odinga's arrest.
At least three NASA leaders among them Miguna Miguna, Tom Kajwang and George Aladwa have been detained and charged with alleged plan to overthrow government.
And in an interview on Thursday, Raila insisted that the harassment on NASA leaders is a plot by the state to arrest him.
"I know they are targeting those who were present at the swearing-in to get to me. I am not afraid of them.
"I am ready to pay the ultimate price as long as we safeguard electoral justice in the country," said Raila.
Also, as part of crackdown on opposition leaders, the government has revoked passports for a number of Raila's allies.
Yet again, to frustrate the opposition,the government has also confiscated gun licenses for a number of MPs.
