CORD leader Raila Odinga has explained why President Uhuru Kenyatta should have not been to vie for the presidency in 2013.
Speaking on Tuesday during the Wiper Democratic delagates conference at Kasarani, Odinga said that anyone accused of murder should not be allowed to vie for any political seat.
“He was accused of weighty charges. He was allowed to vie for President in 2013. Although he was charged with serious crimes against humanity, he was allowed to come home because of mercy," said Odinga.
Odinga's sentiments come at a time when President Uhuru Kenyatta hinted that Kenya is among African Nations planning to quit ICC.
