Kitui South MP Rachel Kaki Nyamai has asked NASA leader Raila Odinga to stop embarrassing himself and quit politics.

Nyamai claims that Odinga's time to quit politics has come.

Speaking to journalists in Kitui Town on Tuesday, Nyamai said asked Raila to leave politics to young politicians like president Uhuru Kenyatta.

The Jubilee lawmaker claimed NASA Raila's  political journey end’s tomorrow (Thursday).

Nyamai  claims that Raila will be politically irrelevant once President Uhuru Kenyatta wins the Thursday repeat poll.

She said  that Raila was not destined to rule this country.

While acknowledging the contribution the former Prime Minister (PM) in the country’s democratic space, Nyamai said that it’s now time for Raila to retire gracefully.

“Raila is the father of Kenyans’ democracy and we appreciate but time has come for him to bow out and he must do it gracefully,” she said as quoted by Kituionline.com

The Jubilee MP said that Raila will be tainting his political legacy if he insists on hanging to politics.

Nyamai said that Raila is willing to retire but his allegedly being misadvised by people close to him.

The Kitui South legislator at the same time pleaded with Raila not to deny his supporters chance to vote on Thursday.

He said that Raila’s pol boycott calls are unconstitutional and that the former PM could find himself in serious trouble.

Raila maintains that NASA will not participate in the Thursday repeat poll.

The former PM withdrew from the presidential poll two weeks ago and has urged his supporters not to show for the Thursday election.
