Bomet Central MP, Ronald Tunoi said Raila has been receiving money from foreign governments and donors to support the push for reforms in the electoral body.

Tonui said Raila has convinced foreign donors that there is a big crisis in the country that needs funds to resolve and that is why he has resorted to street protests.

Speaking in Nakuru on Tuesday, Tonui accused the opposition chief of dishonest.

"The truth is that Raila has no problem with IEBC. He is just using the crisis to fund-raise for the 2017 polls. He is receiving money from foreign sponsors because he has told them that there is a big crisis in the country that needs money to solve," said Tonui.

"He is more focused on getting money for his campaigns and he would want to see this IEBC crisis dragging so he can continue receiving money," he said.
