Speaking in Bungoma County on Saturday, the Cord leader revealed that the Opposition has drawn lessons from Ghana on how to 'protect votes.'

"Don't panic about elections being stolen anymore. We have learned from an elaborate scheme of manning all polling stations the way Ghana did," he said as quoted by the Star.

"What we only need from you is to register as voters. The winner will be determined at the end of the mass listing," he added.

Raila further hit out on the Jubilee administration, accusing President Uhuru Kenyatta of running the country's economy down.

"We have enough experience to redeem this country. Both Uhuru and Ruto worked under me. I tried to teach them in vain," he said.
