Speaking on Inooro TV on Wednesday morning, Mwaura hinted that what has happened between Raila and Uhuru was meant to happen earlier seeing that Kenyatta's and Raila's families are great friends.

"Before I ditched ODM, I approached my then party leader Raila Odinga and told him that Uhuru was bound to win the elections. Raila sent me to advise Uhuru to be his (Raila) running mate but it was not possible since Ruto was already Uhuru's running mate," said Mwaura.

He added: "Raila then told me to tell Uhuru to create the position of the prime minister and again, I told him the constitution would have to be changed to provide for that."

All the same, Mwaura expressed his joy and satisfaction saying that the two leaders coming together will help build the nation and end tribalism.

"Raila and Uhuru control the politics of this country and their coming together will boost the country's economy, encourage investment thus creating job opportunities for the youths," added Mwaura.

Queried about the controversial "Ikamba" song that mocked the Kamba community, Mwaura was fast to condemn it saying it's full of insults.

However, he noted that it is unfortunate that NCIC and the court system is not fair in administering justice.

"If I was asked, Governor Charity Ngilu should have been arrested first for inciting ethnic hatred. When politicians are on the wrong side, the NCIC and the courts tend to be very lenient compared to when an ordinary citizen is caught on the same wrong," said Mwaura.

Mwaura noted that some politicians are only released with only Ksh 50,000 cash bail while John Gichiri, the artist behind the song was slapped with a Sh700,000 cash bail that he was not able to raise.
