Devolution CS Mwangi Kiunjuri has said that NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga wants to burn the same constitution he fought years for to ensure there is democracy in the country.
Speaking at Handaraku in Tana Delta sub-county, Tana River county during the distribution of relief food, Kiunjuri said Kenyans should ignore the protests called by NASA to oust IEBC officials. He challenged NASA leaders to bring their families protest and desist from using innocent Kenyans.
"NASA leaders should participate in demonstrations with their families and stop using innocent people to fight for their personal gains", said Kiunjuri.
According to Kiunjui, president Uhuru Kenyatta is still the head of state since he has has all instruments of power and machinery.
He noted Uhuru publicly did not agree with the Supreme Court ruling that nullified his win but chose to respect it.
"What if Uhuru also says 'Maraga must go'? What will NASA do?" asked the Cs.
He urged NASA politicians to stop insulting the president and instead preach peace in the country.
