Cord party leader Raila Odinga has warned ODM ‘moles’ that they cannot capture power while working with the Jubilee government.
Odinga said the ODM party has rules that they either choose to be with the party or with the Jubilee government.
''You cannot capture power when you work with Jubilee because Jubilee is in power. From where I seat I know supporting the policies of failed regime can never be a path to gain power. You are either with us or with them.” said Odinga
He added that the Jubilee regime there increased insecurity, high poverty index, high inflation and low tourism activities.
''Our work should have been very easy here with the many failures of the Jubilee regime. It is not a secret that Kenyans are making with the most incompetent and arguably the most corrupt regime the country has never known,'' said the Cord Leader.
''Insecurity is at its worst, economic empowerment has deteriorated rapidly especially for the poor. Inflation continues to rise, Kenya is now de-industrialising,” he added.
Odinga added that the Jubilee government has refused to reform the police and instead it es reforming the National Youth Service.
Odinga was speaking on Saturday at Sikra school for the deaf in Oyugis, Homabay County at a consultative meeting for all ODM grassroot leaders from the region.
He added that the party will hold party nominations a year before the 2017 general elections.
The talks are aimed at strengthening the party, which has been hit by leadership wrangles at the national level.
The meeting, billed as one of many to be held countrywide, will also be used to appraise local support.
