Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga insists that the opposition team is united than ever.
The opposition is yet to settle on a sole candidate to face President Uhuru Kenyatta with only eight months to General elections.
In his address to Wiper Democratic Movement delegates on Tuesday, Raila said Jubilee government had panicked following a strong opposition team that it is likely to face in 2017 polls.
“Eight months to elections, we are still stronger and more united than ever, ready to face Jubilee government as a united opposition team,” he said.
“Jubilee has panicked. They have resorted to the tired scrip: warning imaginary foreigners from interfering with elections, issuing decrees against civic education and threatening to go to court if defeated,” he added.
He said that unity within opposition would help the country get rid of Jubilee government’s ‘cancer’ and urged likeminded Kenyans to join opposition.
