National Super Alliance (NASA) flag bearer Raila Odinga has outlined the goodies that await Kenyans should they win come August 8th.
Speaking during the unveiling of opposition lineup, Raila said that Kenyans have suffered enough and the moment of liberation was near.
According to Raila, NASA will fight poverty. This is a menace that has been with us since independence. The past four regimes have failed to solve this puzzle. There is an ever increasing gap between the poor and the rich. Incidences of famine have also killed many Kenyans since independence and the standards of living deteriorate year in year out.
Fighting sickness is another area that the government in waiting will invest in. There are several killer diseases that endanger lives especially for the less fortunate in society. HIV and AIDS, cancer and Malaria are some of the areas that NASA will work on.
The unemployment rate will be reduced if NASA clinches the presidency. The Kenyan youths are being wasted on the streets due to lack of jobs. Some have relevant academic papers while others lack self-employment training. Gambling is now the only remedy but Raila has promised more jobs.
Illiteracy is a mother of all problems. Whenever you talk of poverty, sickness and unemployment; they all have a relation with illiteracy levels. This will end under NASA rein.
