ODM leader Raila Odinga has dismissed claims that he has gone silent over persistent corruption scandals in the country lately.
Last week, a section of social media users hailed Raila for being silent of Sh9 billion NYS saga, Sh740 million NCPB scam among others in what they termed as 'choices have consequences'.
And at Kakamega on Saturday, Raila said he was disillusioned with persistent scandals adding that the government had done nothing to deal with culprits in past scams.
"I have not gone silent in the scandals including that of NYS. I have been very consistent when it comes to fight against graft.
"However, it worries me that nothing has ever been done in the past scandals which I had raised. The government has often failed to act," said the former Prime Minister.
In recent years, Raila has unearthed mega scandals including Sh1.5 billion in NYS, Euro Bond and Sh5 billion Health Ministry scam.
But despite his political duel with President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila agreed to reconcile with the head of state after a divisive election in 2017.
