Abdullahi, who spoke during an exclusive interview on KTN, said that the current government has failed, adding that Raila has the best opportunity to unseat President Kenyatta in the August polls.
“Uhuru’s goose is cooked. As things stand now, in my honest opinion, Raila Odinga will be your next president. That is my personal assessment,” he said.
The lawyer pointed out that the current government has failed when it comes to addressing several issues affecting the common mwananchi including corruption, extra judicial killings and failure to fully implement the constitution among others.
“Right from endemic corruption, extrajudicial killings, total disregard and defilement of the constitution, arrogance and failure to foster national unity and I don’t have to remind you how they humiliated Raila in Nyeri” he said.
The remarks of the lawyer come at a time when leaders of both the opposition and ruling party have intensfied their campaigns in different parts of the nation as they seek power. Both President Uhuru Kenyatta and Cord leader Raila Odinga have exuded confidence that they will emerge victorious when that time comes.
