Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati believes ODM leader Raila Odinga will only need first round of elections to garner constitutional threshold required to be president.
Arati also says the opposition team would capitalize on shortcomings of Jubilee government among them grand corruption and tribalism to complete the 'task' in time.
Speaking at KTN on Monday, the outspoken legislator also insisted that the opposition team would beat their opponents in Nairobi County come August.
"We should not be having a debate on whether Raila will beat Uhuru Kenyatta. We are sure of a convincing first round victory given the inability of the regime to give Kenyans a fair deal," he said.
"There is corruption everywhere and tribalism is at the peak. Kenyans are tired. Jubilee has no capacity to even beat us in Nairobi politics as they claim," he added.
The Jubilee team is keen to control Nairobi politics and the Deputy President recently urged aspirants to have a consensus as a remedy to a possible fallout before elections.
