Former Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu has said NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga will beat President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 8 presidential elections.
Ms Ngilu, who was sacked as Uhuru’s cabinet secretary over corruption allegations, says the Jubilee administration used and dumped her after the 2013 elections.
“I can categorically state that NASA will win the August elections and form the next government,” Ngilu, who is now running to become the Kitui County governor, said, as quoted by The Standard.
The former Water minister said that UhuRuto had failed in their pledge to eliminate poverty and transform the country, and vowed to campaign against President Kenyatta’s re-election.
“Jubilee got elected on the platform to reform this country and fight poverty and change the livelihoods of its people without marginalisation of any kind. They must prepare to pack and go in August,” she said.
She asked the Kamba community to vote for NASA’s Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.
“Time for change is now and we will not be left behind as a region as the country embraces new leadership in NASA after the August polls.”
