Machakos county governor Alfred Mutua has said that NASA presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka will be shortchanged in 2022.According to the Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader, Kalonzo will not get a direct ticket to run for presidency in 2022.
Speaking when he campaigned for president Uhuru in Tala town on Wednesday, Mutua claimed that Kalonzo will be subjected to nominations so that he gets the ticket but will lose.
"Western Kenya has a larger number of voters than Eastern. The high number of votes will determine who will become NASA's next presidential candidate in 2022 since Western people will vote as a block for Musalia Mudavadi," said Mutua.
Mutua urged the Kamba community to vote for Uhuru in the October, 17 presidential elections citing that the Jubilee government has achieved a lot of development in the region.
He said Kalonzo who is also the Wiper party leader has been in the opposition for long and he should consider being in the government.
