IEBC commissioner Roselyn Akombe has said Raila Odinga will still be on the ballot on October 26 despite opposition's threats to boycott the polls.

Akombe said Raila will only be excluded in the polls if he formally announces his withdrawal.

"We have not received any formal letter from NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga withdrawing from the race. He is still in the race and will be on the ballot", she said.

She said NASA demands will not be met since it is only 20 days left to elections.

"Raila demands that we  overhaul the returning officers. What the chairperson told him is that we do not have time to recruit new ones but the commission is taking necessary measures on the officers who were found with irregularities", she said.

NASA leaders led by Raila Odinga have faulted IEBC for not addressing their grievances before a repeat of polls.

Meanwhile, opposition leader and their supporters are holding protests nationwide to oust IEBC commissioners from office.
