Opposition leader Raila Odinga has once again won, without shedding a sweat, beating his former ally and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula at his own game.

The Ford Kenya party leader recently declared war on Odinga blaming him for his Senate Minority Leader ouster and vowing to sabotage his political operations.

However, Wetangula's main supporter in the fight against the former Prime Minister and Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi seems to have reconsidered his move and has since realigned himself with Odinga.

Speaking in Shinyalu in Kakamega county Saturday, in the presence of Odinga, Mudavadi maintained that he will stick to the Orange Party chief, rubbishing their earlier spat as a simple ideological variation, technically dumping Wetangula for Odinga.

"What stood between us was a simple ideological difference but we remain and will stick together. My respect and admiration for Raila is still in place," said the former Deputy Premier.

This also follows several disagreements between the two, with Mudavadi earlier parting ways with the veteran leader to vie for the presidency in 2013 before again joining him before last year's polls under the National Super Alliance (NASA) umbrella.

His latest departure followed by the current return is proof of Odinga's second victory against him, always winning after every argument and separation.

This is also likely to translate to another win for Raila in the Western region in the coming polls, despite earlier threats by Mudavadi and Wetangula that they will use their newfound Luhya Unity push to lock him out.
